Sensory Support
Every child experiences the world differently. Sensory support helps children explore how they experience movement, touch, sounds, textures, and everyday sensations while building comfort, confidence, and participation in daily activities.
Through movement, play, hands-on experiences, and guided sensory activities, our specialists support body awareness, coordination, attention, and participation in routines such as playing, eating, dressing, and bathing. For infants and young children, these experiences can also create meaningful opportunities for exploration, connection, and learning.
Within A&E Mind’s Early Intervention Program, sensory support can be thoughtfully coordinated with occupational therapy, speech therapy, and developmental services. Each approach is shaped around your child’s interests, strengths, preferences, and the routines that matter most to your family.
We also partner with parents and caregivers to create simple, supportive strategies that can be naturally incorporated into everyday routines at home. If you have questions about how your child experiences the world around them or participates in daily activities, we’re here to help you explore supportive approaches together.
